The royal family is a tight-knit group that does their best to be there for one another through thick and thin. Whether gathering for a special event or just spending the day together for a royal engagement, the royal family members have shown that they truly care for each other. Kate Middleton and Prince William married in April 2011 and have been gracing the world with their beautiful romance ever since. They have three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Over the years, the family has been spotted out and about during royal engagements and typical everyday activities. Despite this, Kate and William have done their best to keep their personal life private and show how much of a normal family they are. However, with such a prime spot in the public eye, it was only time until people began to notice how the Prince and Princess of Wales acted toward their three adorable children. Throughout their many outings and interactions as a family, the royal couple has shown love, affection and support for each other and their kids.
As the British royal family was rocked with serious health issues in 2024, the Wales family was particularly impacted after Kate was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer. Since then, the couple has been getting back on their feet as the Princess of Wales continues her recovery in private.
In the latter half of 2024, Kate appeared more frequently in public at several other royal engagements. She and William appeared in a special video with other famous personalities congratulating British athletes for their brilliant performance at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Many were thrilled with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ appearance, especially with William’s bold new look.
In the new video posted by the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account, the royals, along with other celebrities and British personalities, congratulated the successful Olympians on their brilliant performances in the recently concluded 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. According to the official Olympic medal tally, Great Britain placed 7th overall with 14 Olympic gold medals, 22 silver medals, and 26 bronze medals, totaling 65 medals.
“Well done @teamgb, what an incredible journey! Every athlete showed immense dedication, heart and passion. You made us all so proud! Here’s to celebrating every triumph at @paris2024 and looking forward to more from @paralympicsgb_official later in the summer 🇬🇧🥇” the Prince and Princess of Wales wrote in the caption of the video.
In the video, Kate congratulated Team Great Britain, speaking on behalf of all the British people who were watching at home supporting the athletes. William, who sported a fuller bearded look, stood happily by her side as he said his part.
“Well done on all you’ve achieved. You’ve been an inspiration to us all,” William added.
Aside from the Prince of Princess of Wales, rapper Snoop Dogg and football superstar David Beckham and other personalities appeared in the video.
Meanwhile, in the comments, royal family fans couldn’t help but chuckle after seeing William’s bold hairy look.
“Great to Catherine again, and William unshaved haha, it’s been years since we’ve seen that, what a sight!” a fan raved.
