King Charles III has reportedly offered Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet accommodation on a royal estate during a planned family visit to the United Kingdom. The reported offer, first detailed by People, would give the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a formal royal base while they attend events connected to the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.
The visit would mark the Sussex family’s first trip to Britain together since 2022, when Archie and Lilibet traveled for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. The children have lived primarily in California since Harry and Meghan stepped back as working members of the royal family in 2020.
The timing gives the visit added meaning. The Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 are scheduled for July 10 to July 17, 2027, according to the Invictus Games Foundation. Harry founded the competition in 2014 to support wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans through adaptive sport.
