Prince Harry and Meghan Markle keep their children’s faces hidden, saying it’s about privacy, but one expert says it’s about a payout.
We spoke to Eric Schiffer, a reputation expert, about the dangers of making their image such a hot commodity, with him saying it could turn into “toxic curiosity.”
By hiding their children away, it may be creating more harm than good, it’s being said.
Mr. Schiffer told Express US, “She’s running the scarcity play. She teases the silhouette to prime demand and cash the reveal.
“Every cropped clip is a breadcrumb trail to a seismic payday.”
Harry and Meghan hide their children’s faces
Meghan returned to Instagram earlier this year, and slowly but surely, she’s been sharing photos and videos of Archie and Lilibet running and playing.
With each post, she shows more and more, which seems like she may be building up to a big reveal. We’d like to give Meghan more credit than that, but at the same time, anything is possible. And if that is the case, Schiffer advises them to switch gears, as it’s not a big idea to make their children a part of the brand.
Schiffer explained: “Hiding faces manufactures toxic curiosity and done too long, it can turn into a dumpster fire of resentment.”
He added: I recommend she protect the children from the brand and don’t make them the brand.”
“If she flips the switch, do it once, on her platform, with purpose with charity tie-in, protective terms, hard limits.”

Hiding their children away may create more harm than good
Harry grew up in the public eye and when he was older he talked about not having a choice on the matter. So when it comes to Archie and Lilibet, he and Meghan would like to give them a choice as to whether or not they’d like to be public figures.
There’s a flaw with their plan, by shielding their children to the point that they are being hidden, it increases public interest.
