Royal fans have accused Prince Harry of ‘stealing’ his brother Prince William’s title.
Now, we know the royal brothers haven’t had the easiest of relationships in recent years since he and wife Meghan Markle resigned from their royal responsibilities in 2020.
After fleeing the UK and moving their family to the States, the couple went on to cite alleged mistreatment of Meghan, 44, by several members of the monarchy.
And things seem to be moving in a more positive direction after Harry met with his dad King Charles III for the first time in 19 months in September, as the duo enjoyed a private tea at Clarence House.
But, as we say, fans are now accusing the Duke of Sussex of ‘stealing’ his brother Prince William’s title.
This week, Harry was playing in the St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship in Aspen, Colorado, but he wasn’t introduced using the name we know him by.

Instead, the commentator introduced him as ‘Harry Wales’, which royal family fanatics will know is not his title or name.
The announcer said: “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please welcome onto the podium the runners-up of the 2025 St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship.
“Please give it up for Aspen Valley Polo Cup: Harry Wales, Grant Ganzi and Nic Roldan.”
The name Wales is being used by William – who is The Prince of Wales – and the rest of his family.
Harry previously used the name Wales when his father, the King, was previously The Prince of Wales before he took to the throne when Queen Elizabeth II died.
However, he’s been known as Sussex since marrying Meghan back in 2018.
So, being referred to as ‘Harry Wales’ left people baffled, with one Twitter user writing: “‘Harry Wales’ Did I just hear that correctly? I thought it was Sussex???”
As second wrote: “Whaaaat??!! He isn’t Prince William’s son! The Prince of Wales is William! Harry hasn’t been Wales since he was given the new Titles by HMTLQ on his wedding day with the main being the Duke of Sussex… So he’s going by his old name now instead of sharing Sussex with his kids?!”
While a third and fourth questioned: “Harry Wales?? Is he pretending he’s back at Eton or something??” and “WTF is going on?!?! Harry Wales?!? What happened to Sussex?!?!”

And someone else asked: “What’s stopping him from using Harry Sussex? He is no longer of Wales since 2018.”
And others simply remarked: “Well that’s odd” and “He hasn’t been called that since he was in school or the military. Odd.”
However, someone else explained that the Duke has gone by ‘Harry Wales’ in polo for some time now and it’s likely just stuck around.
They penned: “Harry Wales, had long been used in polo, in more recent years, the Duke of Sussex, is referred to publicly as Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex in match reports, scoreboards, and polo charity events. its likely, just stuck with some people, in the polo game.”
