Full list of celebrities in Epstein files as ‘all documents released’

US Attorney General Pam Bondi has responded to public pressure over the Jeffrey Epstein files.

On February 14, she sent a six-page letter to Congress explaining that all documents held by the Department of Justice had been released and put together a list of high-profile figures who appear in the files.

The list includes 305 celebrities, politicians, and other high-profile individuals who were named at least once in the documents relating to Epstein, who died by suicide while awaiting his sex-trafficking trial in 2019.

Bondi clarified that no information has been withheld ‘on the basis of embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity’.

On the list are the names of people who ‘are or were a government official or politically exposed person’ – aka, people who are in the public eye.

However, it’s important to note that being included in the files does not automatically imply any wrongdoing or even direct contact with Epstein.

Someone could have been talked about in an email and have no knowledge of it, or their name could appear in a news report, or be mentioned in passing.

The files are essentially a varied mishmash of emails, communications, names, and random snippets of information, many of which are completely unrelated to the actual crimes committed by Epstein.

And the letter noted that the listed names appear in a ‘wide variety of contexts,’ including some people who had ‘extensive direct email contact with Epstein or Maxwell’ and others who were merely referenced in documents.

Bondi’s list is filled with A-listers, including musicians, actors, politicians, businessmen, and entrepreneurs, both dead and alive.

Huge stars like Beyonce, Cher, George Clooney, Bruce Springsteen, and Jay Z are on the list, as are Robert De Niro, Diana Ross, Melinda Gates, Tucker Carlson, and Meghan Markle.

Among the political figures mentioned are President Donald Trump and his vice president, JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Barack and Michelle Obama, and Bill and Hillary Clinton.

However, the list of names has caused some backlash as some politicians have questioned whether it makes sense to put all of these names together with little context.

In response to the letter and list, California Democratic Representative Ro Khanna, who co-wrote the Epstein Files Transparency Act, accused the Department of Justice of ‘purposefully muddying the waters on who was a predator and who was mentioned in an email’.

He said in a post on X: “To have Janis Joplin, who died when Epstein was 17, in the same list as Larry Nassar, who went to prison for the sexual abuse of hundreds of young women and child pornography, with no clarification of how either was mentioned in the files is absurd.

“Release the full files. Stop protecting predators. Redact only the survivor’s names.”
