After an offhand comment made on season two of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, Meghan Markle has received an unexpected job offer in the U.K.
On the series, the Duchess of Sussex said when asked what she missed most about the U.K. that it was her favorite radio station, Magic FM, that left her nostalgic for her years living across the pond. Just shy of a month after the August 26 debut of her show’s second season, Magic’s Content Director Paul Sylvester spoke at Radiocentre’s Tuning In conference on September 23 and said, in no uncertain terms, “The offer is on the table—if the Duchess wants to host a show, she’s very welcome” (via Hello!).

Sylvester later doubled down on his comments online, writing, “I did say exactly this.” (No response from the As Ever founder just yet, though.)
After telling With Love, Meghan guest Tan France her affinity for the radio station, France jokingly referred to it as “such a Grandma station.” To this, Meghan cheekily replied, “I’ll be that Grandma.”

Meghan and her family relocated to California in 2020, and it seems after leaving the U.K. and Magic FM behind, she’s found a new station she’s into—Mom Jeans, which plays “throwback, great sing-alongs, you forget they existed. I love it.”
Speaking to People earlier this year, Meghan shared that “It used to be all Kidz Bop all the time in the car. Now for dropoff and pickup, even Lili will say, ‘Can we listen to Mama Jeans?’ I’m like, ‘It’s Mom Jeans, but yes, we sure can!’”

Sylvester’s offer follows a public show of support for Meghan by Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, telling Emma Grede on her “Aspire” podcast, “One thing we learned early with Meghan…she has remarkable influence. Remarkable.”
Referring to Prince Harry and Meghan’s 2022 six-part docuseries called, simply, Harry & Meghan, Sarandos added, “And by the way, the documentary itself was also one of the most watched documentaries we’ve ever had,” adding it was “successful in every measure.”

As for becoming a Magic FM DJ, Meghan already has experience behind the mic—she’s hosted two podcasts, 2022’s “Archetypes” with Spotify and 2025’s “Confessions of a Female Founder” with Lemonada Media. Per The Telegraph, as for adding radio host to her resume, Magic FM said it had “been in with her team and offered her a show, if she ever wanted one.”

Per The Daily Mail, Magic FM is one of the U.K.’s “most popular radio networks,” boasting 3.6 million weekly listeners. After all, Meghan is a music fan, saying it was “part of how we kept the vibe alive” on the With Love, Meghan set on her Instagram.
“Between setups, I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation,” she wrote. “Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy.”
