Princess Anne is often applauded for her strong work ethic and humble nature.
Now, the Princess Royal is being commended again for her modest approach to life – despite being part of Britain’s most famous family.

Princess Anne’s ‘humble’ nature on show
Princess Anne was spotted out and about by royal fans on Tuesday and a clip of the princess has since been seen by over 35,000 X users (at the time of writing) which proves her laid-back approach to the limelight.
In a clip shared by an X user, the princess can be seen wearing a navy, woollen coat, gloves and a white scarf as she sports her handbag on her shoulder and chats to people on the street.
The person who filmed the moment penned in the caption: “Not a bad Tuesday afternoon as I bumped into Princess Anne at St Paul’s before my hospital appointment.”
Unsurprisingly, a slew of stunned fans flocked to the comment section to share their praise.
“Wow. One of the best, if not the best royal [in my opinion],” gushed one.
“Love her,” penned another.

Detail that proves Princess Anne’s ‘modesty’ spotted
Another pointed out that Princess Anne looked pretty normal. She wasn’t sporting regal attire, in fact, her handbag looked well-loved.
They explained: “Perhaps the humblest of the royals. Her bag is so modest and looks worn on the strap.”
“The Princess Royal is a steady hardworking person. No complaints, no drama, no whining. What a real and royal princess,” added another.
“Wow. So down to earth,” agreed a fifth.
Today, September 24, Princess Anne is out and about again, keeping busy.
Princess Anne’s royal engagements
The Princess Royal is expected to fulfil four appearances today – with engagements including a visit to the Naval Children’s Charity.
The princess will also attend a reception in Hampshire for the Royal Yachting Association, at Southampton International Boat Show.
Anne, as patron of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, will also visit Citizens Advice Tadley and District on the occasion of its 40th Anniversary, also in Hampshire.
It comes after the princess stunned fans when photographed at a Lingerie Workshop yesterday.
Anne is known for her hard working nature.
As reported by The Telegraph, in 2023, she completed 457 engagements. In 2024, the number was 395 UK engagements, and 79 abroad.
Amazing!
The official royal family website details Anne’s crammed schedule: “The Princess Royal has a busy schedule of engagements which see her travel widely across the UK and overseas. Known for her love of horses and an equestrian career which saw her compete in the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, Her Royal Highness is involved with riding for the disabled organisations across the Commonwealth.
“Much of her time is also spent supporting the work of Save the Children, of which she has been President since 1970.”
